Located on the right bank of the Hérault, at the foot of Causse du Larzac, the estate was established in 1781 and takes its name from “La Dourbie”, a small river that permeates the vineyard and flows into the Hérault.
Since those bygone times, successive owners of the estate have been spurred on by a passion for vineyards and wines.
In 2003, the estate entered a new era as the vineyard was revamped and the cellar and storehouse were modernised.
The vineyard covers 32 acres of land dedicated to organic farming: The estate is enclosed by an area of 20 ha while 12 ha are located in an isolated valley at an altitude of 200 m, surrounded by garrigue which is characterised by a unique microclimate.
